The CoLCPA continues to provide financial and other support to a number of important crime prevention initiatives, including:
Project Griffin is now in its 11th year and continues to grow nationally and internationally: Paris has recently incorporated a scheme and Holland is considering taking it forward. The Project Griffin Community Award was recently announced.
CSSC continues to grow nationwide. Recently Andrew Nicholls, Head of Security and Licensing at Mitchells & Butlers and Karen Ramírez, Managing Director of PR Lingua Communications received Commendations for their respective contributions to Counter Terrorism Awareness Week 2014 (CTAW2014) through their work with the Cross-sector Safety & Security Communications (CSSC) initiative. David Ward has recently been appointed chair of CSSC Southern.
National Business Crime Forum – work is continuing to determine how to proceed.
City Security magazine continues to make a significant impact.
