Who is membership open to?

Membership of the Association is open to representatives of professional, commercial and industrial organisations who hold a responsibility for security. We also welcome representatives of the community and other associations who have an appropriate interest.

Organisations and associations seeking membership should be located within the City of London or have legitimate interests within that area. Other persons may be admitted at the discretion of the Executive Committee.

Membership benefits of the CoLCPA include:

A programme of regular events covering a range of current topics such as counter terrorism, security technology, IT security, cyber crime, identity theft, fraud, pre-employment/client screening, business continuity, travel safety and more.

Specialist speakers who are experts in their respective fields and cover current and emerging topics and threats.

A range of high-level updates from the City of London Police on crime and counter-terrorism issues.

Attendance and support from prominent members and local officers of the City of London Police at all monthly meetings and other events, enabling discussion and debate on crime prevention advice and emerging trends.

Notification of events being held within the City of London that may affect the business and residential communities.

Information and advice available on crime prevention from the City of London Police, the City of London Corporation and other organisations.
