TFL Active Travel Toolkit: 26 August 2020
TfL are committed to playing our full part in getting London moving and working again, safely and sustainably.
Public transport services on buses, Tube and rail are now back to near normal levels and are cleaner than ever. We are providing regular information on the quiet times to travel to enable social distancing. Our latest advice to businesses on public transport is available here
In addition, facilities to enable more walking and cycling are being delivered across London. The Mayor’s Streetspace plan is making changes to the road network to make active travel more accessible and help people cycle safely across the city.
To help businesses plan for, and enable, an increase in cycling and walking by employees , we have today launched the Active Travel Toolkit
Taking feedback from businesses and learning from their experience, the toolkit offers practical advice to employers looking to enable more of their staff to walk or cycle to their place of work.
As ever, if you feel there are any forums or meetings that would benefit from a TfL representative joining to discuss our latest travel advice then please get in touch and we will make it happen.
