Counter Terrorism Policing is bringing back its long-running Summer campaign to encourage the public to stay alert, trust their instincts and report anything that doesn’t feel right.You can play your part by promoting the campaign using the digital toolkit available on ProtectUK. The toolkit has been refreshed this summer making it easier for you to navigate, it includes a wide range of campaign materials suitable for all sectors, all of which can be downloaded for free.

They are delighted to announce the City Security Article of the Year Award 2025, supported by Genetec, the City of London Crime Prevention Association (CoLCPA), and The Security Event.

Selecting the finalists

Finalists for the City Security magazine Article of the Year Award 2025 have been chosen from articles published in the last twelve months (Autumn & Winter 2024 and Spring & Summer 2025). All nominated articles are available to read online at citysecuritymagazine.com.

Voting process

Voting is open exclusively to subscribers of City Security magazine, with one vote per subscriber. If you are not yet a subscriber, you can subscribe as part of the voting process. By submitting your vote, you’ll automatically receive our quarterly digital issues of City Security magazine, our bi-weekly Security eReview, and occasional informative updates.

Voting closes on 21 February 2026, and all votes will be verified by the Editor. Final results will be published on our website, and the Editor’s decision will be final.

The winner will receive a prestigious plaque and certificate, presented during a meeting of the City of London Crime Prevention Association (details to follow).
