Speaker: Commander Ade Adelekan, Met Ops Public Order

Ade is an accomplished and an experienced Public Order Commander for the Metropolitan Police Service, having managed many complex incidents, but not exhaustive to Notting Hill Carnival (including 2020 virtual Carnival), Black Lives Matter, XR, Brexit, Anti-COVID and various other protest. Ade also leads on Unlicensed Music Events on a National Level for the Metropolitan Police Service.

Ade will present on his current role, the structure, purpose and intention of both portfolios he holds in Public Order, and Command and Control. Ade will be expanding on the scale and complexity of policing protests in London including challenges and threats on the landscape of London in the back drop of COVID.
