Lorin LaFave is the founder of the Breck Foundation, a charity she set up to raise awareness of the signs of grooming and exploitation, which educates and empowers young people to make safer choices for themselves online, using her 14-year-old son Breck Bednar’s real-life story of being groomed whilst gaming online with friends from school.
Lorin campaigns for a safer internet and presents to anyone with safeguarding responsibilities such as police, educators, health practitioners, parents and pupils themselves to ensure that the digital generation are kept from harm.
